Welcome to this updated website of the Christchurch (NZ) Philatelic Society. For over a century the Society has been meeting monthly to hear about and discuss the hobby of philately, or all sorts of aspects relating to stamp collecting. However, we are in another century now and not everyone likes going to meetings. We would therefore like to extend an open handed welcome to fellow collectors to participate in submitting posts to this blog. At the moment you will need to do so by contacting us through the Contacts page. We welcome comments, questions, things interesting related to the philatelic hobby, but please be aware, the blog is not for commercial advertising, nor do we provide valuations nor purchase/accept collections.
